SAFEHUB
HYS manages a ‘Safehub’ facility at The Station Youth Centre to accommodate young people who are under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
The need for better support and education for the town’s young people whilst under the influence has been evident and through the new facility, we can now offer a safe environment for young people to go and contact home or emergency services if required.
Safehub is available for young people on Fridays (from 3pm-6pm) and incorporates our Sexual Health advisory service.

Are you a young person in Hailsham and need information on STIs, advice on contraception or a chat about relationships?
We offer support for young people in a safe and encouraging environment and any young person that feels they need advice or information on matters relating to sexual health and relationships are welcome to come along to our Safehub facility at The Station Youth Centre in Western Road. No appointment is necessary.
We provide confidential information and advice on sexual health related issues. We also offer C-Cards and free condoms, free pregnancy testing for under 25s, and free chlamydia testing on a confidential basis.
