Mayor and Deputy Mayor to Attend Inaugural Hailsham Business Awards

The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Hailsham, Councillors Chris Bryant and Colin Mitchell, will attend the inaugural Hailsham Business Awards on Friday 25 September at Blackstock Country Estate, celebrating businesses and organisations from across the wider Hailsham & District area.

Organised by the Hailsham & District Chamber of Commerce, the awards have been created to recognise the breadth and diversity of businesses operating across the local area. The ceremony will bring together businesses, entrepreneurs and community organisations for an evening celebrating local enterprise.

Hotelier and television personality Alex Polizzi is heading the judging panel for the inaugural awards. She is leading an independent panel of judges, with the judging process designed to provide a consistent approach across the award categories.

Hailsham Town Council is proud to sponsor the Charity and Community Impact Award, which the Town Mayor will present during the evening. Councillor Chris Bryant said: “It is a real pleasure to be attending the inaugural Hailsham Business Awards and to have the opportunity to celebrate the many businesses and organisations that contribute to the prosperity and vitality of our town and surrounding area.”

The awards are open to businesses of all sizes and sectors, with categories reflecting the variety of organisations operating locally. Categories include Small Business Award, Medium Business Award, Large Business Award, Charity and Community Impact Award, Health and Wellbeing Award, Young Achiever Award, Overall Business Award, Hospitality Excellence Award, Property Professional Award, Creative Media and Advertising Award, Outstanding Professional Services Award and Trade Excellence Award.
