Hailsham Town Council is inviting residents, community groups and local businesses to take advantage of its well-appointed meeting spaces at the Council offices in Market Street.

The Fleur de Lys Meeting Room and the Members’ Room provide flexible and welcoming venues suitable for a wide range of uses, from one-off events to regular group meetings.

The Fleur de Lys Meeting Room is a versatile space ideal for social clubs, toddler and pre-school groups, craft exhibitions, training courses, business meetings, public consultations and seminars. The room can comfortably accommodate up to 30 people, with layouts that can be tailored to suit individual requirements. Facilities include tables and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, kettle and fridge, toilet facilities and free Wi-Fi. Access is available via the garden entrance at the rear of the Town Council building.

For smaller meetings, the Members’ Room offers a quiet, professional environment for up to 10 people, making it well suited to committee meetings, one-to-one discussions and corporate sessions. This room also benefits from free Wi-Fi and toilet access, with entry through the front of the Council offices.

Tony Lee, Operations and Facilities Manager at Hailsham Town Council, said: “Our meeting rooms are centrally located, affordable and benefit from free parking, making them an excellent choice for community groups, charities and local businesses. Following the recent refurbishment of the historic Grade II listed Inglenook building, both rooms are now bright, modern and welcoming spaces.”

He added: “Whether you’re organising a training session, hosting a craft exhibition, running a playgroup or looking for a quiet space for interviews or meetings, our rooms offer a convenient and cost-effective solution right in the heart of Hailsham.”

Both rooms are available to hire at competitive rates for community organisations and private users.
