Hailsham Town Council – Change to Public Reception Opening Times

Hailsham Town Council has confirmed a change to the opening hours of its public reception area and enquiries desk, which will come into effect from Monday 2nd February.

From this date, the public reception and enquiries desk will be open to visitors from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

The Council has confirmed that its telephone lines will continue to operate as normal, remaining open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday,  ensuring residents can still access services and support throughout the day. The number to call is 01323 841702.

Residents can also continue to make appointments to meet with staff and councillors.

The Council’s public reception continues to host its resident and visitor information point, providing a comprehensive range of leaflets, brochures and guides. These cover local events and attractions, council and community services, safety advice, consumer information and public transport, including local bus timetables. Visitors can also make use of a new digital display screen showcasing local events, announcements and community notices.

Commenting on the changes, Corporate Services Manager Emily Hastings said: “These revised opening hours allow us to continue delivering a high standard of customer service while making the best use of Council resources. Residents can contact us by phone throughout the working day, and we remain committed to ensuring our reception provides helpful information and support for both residents and visitors to Hailsham.”

Hailsham Town Council encourages residents to plan visits in line with the new reception opening times and to make use of telephone contact where appropriate.
