The ‘Hailsham Card’, a loyalty card scheme launched to give customers a greater incentive to use town centre shops, continues to be a success and is now available to purchase from the town centre post office located in the High Street, among other locations.

The Hailsham Card, operated by Town City Cards and fully supported by the Town Council, offers 100s of exclusive discounts and offers to shoppers, diners and other service users in and around Hailsham.

Membership costs just £12 and cardholders can use the card to receive discounts in all the local businesses that are part of the scheme (including any online businesses) together with any other towns across Sussex that are signed up to the scheme, including Eastbourne, Hastings and Bexhill.

The newest Hailsham Card is made from biodegradable materials to compliment the ‘Plastic Free’ movement, and features a water colour of the High Street by local artist Mary Wright.

To redeem the discount the Hailsham Card just needs to be shown at the point of purchase.

“It’s really easy to use the card and there are no fees involved except for the initial, one-off charge of £12 to purchase the card. You simply hand it over to the participating business and take advantage of the offer,” said Deputy Town Clerk & Business Enterprise Manager, Mickey Caira.

“There’s something for everyone, from restaurants, cafes and bars to hairdressers and beauty therapy providers, from antique shops and homeware stores to dog grooming services and fun leisure activities for all the family. There is a broad range of special offers, discounts and experiences available to residents from some of Hailsham’s much-loved businesses and attractions.”

“It’s so important that people shop locally and we hope residents and visitors to the town will continue to take advantage of the Hailsham Card.”
