All Set For Hailsham Jubilee Day Shopping Event This Weekend

Organisers are set for a string of events taking place in Hailsham this weekend from Thursday to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, including ‘Hailsham Jubilee Day’ on Saturday 4th June, taking place in and around the town centre.

‘Hailsham Jubilee Day’, a shopping event similar to the ‘Celebrate Hailsham Day’ ones organised in recent years, will feature a number of town centre shops, eateries and service providers offering special promotions and discounts on their goods and services to customers on the day.

The event will also include a range of market stalls in Vicarage Field selling a locally sourced food and gifts, as well as stalls from local community groups providing activities for all the family – plus Hailsham FM will be in attendance on the day.

Deputy Town Clerk & Business Enterprise Manager Mickey Caira said: “We’re delighted to be part of organising the Hailsham Jubilee Day, which I’m confident will support our community in all the wonderful things they are doing locally.”

I hope that as many people as possible will come along to the Hailsham Jubilee Day shopping event on 4th June, as well as other scheduled events taking place over the course of the June bank holiday weekend which are so ably being organised by Hailsham News.”
