Wealden District Council, in partnership with ECE Planning, Roberts Limbrick and Spider Projects are preparing a proposal to improve the public realm at Vicarage Field, Hailsham. The aim is to create a space that reflects the history and character of Hailsham while enhancing the local environment. Focus will be placed on paving, landscaping, seating, lighting and accessibility.

The proposals will be published from 𝟮𝟬 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 here: https://letstalk.wealden.gov.uk/hailsham-vicarage-field-public-realm-improvements. They can also be viewed at a public drop-in event taking place at the former Maybugs shop (26 Vicarage Field) between 2pm and 5pm on the same day.

Residents, businesses and visitors are invited to learn more about the project, view the proposals and share their feedback before a planning application is submitted later this summer.
