Residents are being encouraged to mark their diaries for Wednesday 13th May, when Hailsham Town Council will hold its Annual Town (Electors’) Meeting at the Hailsham Civic Community Hall.
The meeting will begin at 7.30pm and will be chaired by the Town Mayor and Chairman of the Council, Cllr Chris Bryant. There will be information stands from local community organisations prior to the main part of the meeting, from 6.30pm.
The Annual Town Meeting provides an important opportunity for local government electors to raise matters relating to the parish of Hailsham and to ask questions of their Town Council. In accordance with Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972, electors may address any issue of public concern affecting the parish.
