The much-loved annual event promises to be bigger and brighter than ever, bringing festive cheer, entertainment and community spirit to the heart of the town.
Taking place in the town centre, the event will feature seasonal stalls, artisan gifts and plenty of delicious food and drink to enjoy, plus pupils from Hailsham Academy will perform traditional carols and there will be a visit Santa Claus himself.
The Christmas Lights Switch-On will take place at 6pm and Hailsham FM will broadcast live from the event.
Residents and businesses are encouraged to use the Hailsham Banking Hub for services such as cash withdrawals, deposits, paying in cheques and financial advice.
Operating on an interim basis from the town centre Post Office, which the Town Council runs and operates as franchisee, the opening of the hub is excellent news for the town and a welcome relief to customers – a facility which complements existing banking services already provided in-branch at the Post Office.
