Valentines Farmers Market On Saturday 14th February, Hailsham Farmers Market is on the Cattle Market Site in Market Street, BN27 2AG from 9am to 12.30pm.

There is a St Valentine’s Day card making competition which will be judged by our customers and stallholders. Get creative and bring your entry for one of 3 categories for 10 and under, 16 and under and adults. Prize from market producers. Amateur hobbyists only please. You can also find out how you can sign up to the Love Your Local Market campaign.

Lots of ideas for Valentine’s presents, from plants to planters and new traders Tori & Lola with their homemade handmade novelty soaps. There will be jam and marmalade from Wild Preserves and all the usual producers and crafters will be there selling beef, lamb, pork, chicken, game, cakes, organic milk, eggs, fruit and veg (look out for cabbage, cauliflower, celeriac, chard, chicory, leeks, parsnips, spinach, swede, turnip), bread, honey, pies, juices, cheese, sweets, plants and planters ready for your spring bulbs and grow bags and much more. Coming soon smoked meats from the Sussex Bacon Company.

Cuckmere Buses would like to recruit more volunteer drivers and will also be at the Market when you can drive a Cuckmere Bus on production of your drivers license and find out more.
