The Mayor of Hailsham will be joining in with celebrations to mark the beginning of spring at Hailsham Choral Society’s next concert, an evening of musical miscellany at All Saints Church in Eastbourne on Saturday 21 March, from 7.30pm.
The concert includes performances of Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Purcell’s Te Deum and Jubilate and will be conducted by Josik Kotz with an orchestra accompanying the choir.
Looking forward to the event, Town Mayor Councillor Jo Bentley said:“It’s good to hear that Hailsham Choral Society has organised yet another distinguished line-up of choristers and instrumentalists for their annual spring concert. The event is likely to be popular so I’d strongly recommend people considering attending to book their seats as early as possible to avoid disappointment.”
Simon Marsden, chairman of the Hailsham Choral Society said:“Rehearsals are going well for the concert and we are all enjoying the wonderful music of Haydn and Purcell. As this will be one of our orchestral concerts I am sure that it will be an exciting evening and we are looking forward to it.”
Admission tickets are priced at £12 (under 16s £6) and are available from The Camera Centre in Hailsham High Street, Eastbourne Tourist Information office and via wegottickets.com, subject to availability. Tickets will also be available at the door.
