Young people in Hailsham are crying out for more clothes shops and new entertainment stores in the town centre. These are just some of the findings of a young people’s survey carried out by students at Hailsham Community College, announced recently by Hailsham Town Council.
The questionnaire was designed and produced as a supplement to the ‘Your Town, Your Community’ survey published in the spring 2009 edition of the Town Council’s quarterly Residents' Newsletter.
Responses from the questionnaire survey, produced by Hailsham Town Council in partnership with the Hailsham & District Chamber of Commerce, were received from over 500 students in Hailsham aged between 11 and 17 years.
