Hailsham Senior Citizens are entitled to claim a subsidy against their Rail Card. If you are of retirement age (and live within the Hailsham parish boundary), Hailsham Town Council will refund 75% on your Senior Citizen's Railcard. All you need to do is pay for your card at Polegate or Eastbourne Train Station and then bring it to the Town Council Offices, Inglenook, Market Street, and we will issue you with a refund. The Rail Card can be used as far away as Scotland and allows you a third off your train fare, if you are prepared to travel after 9am.
