NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with the Local Government Act 1972, that a casual vacancy now exists in the office of Town Councillor.
Any person wishing to be considered for co-option to the Town Council, should apply in writing to the Town Clerk at the Town Council Offices, Inglenook, Market Square, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 2AE by Friday 19th September 2008 at the latest.
Applicants are advised to include information in respect of any personal qualifications or past/current civic and community participation, which they consider supports their application for the office of Town Councillor.
Applicants will be considered at the meeting of Hailsham Town Council to be held on 6th October 2008. Applicants may be invited to address the Council prior to voting.
