The Umbrella Body provides a service to all sectors both voluntary and commercial organisations in the local community and East Sussex. Only a registered body can access information from the Criminal Records Bureau.
Hailsham Town Council is authorised to access information held by the Bureau to check the background of potential employees or volunteers, to enable organisations to make safer recruitment decisions.
